Director, Experiential Marketing (Canada)
The Director of Experiential Marketing (Canada) leads the strategic planning, execution, and continuous improvement of national experiential marketing programs across Canada. This role is accountable for delivering scalable, compliant, and high impact experiential initiatives that drive brand engagement, retailer performance, and profitable growth. The position serves as a senior client advisor and organizational leader, ensuring alignment between client objectives, operational execution, and financial performance.

Responsibilities
Develop and lead the Canadian experiential marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with client objectives, retailer priorities, and corporate growth goals
Serve as the senior experiential marketing lead for Canadian clients and suppliers booking events, providing strategic direction, governance, and executive level relationship management
Oversee end to end execution of national experiential programs within Canada, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with Canadian retail and labour regulations
Own financial accountability for Canadian experiential programs, including demo volume and sales, budget development, sales growth delivery, forecasting, cost management, and margin performance
Lead, coach, and develop experiential and account management leaders within Canada, establishing performance expectations, talent development plans, and succession planning
Partner cross functionally with Canadian sales, operations, analytics, and field leadership teams to deliver integrated experiential solutions at scale
Establish performance metrics, evaluate program effectiveness, and deliver actionable insights and recommendations to Canadian clients and senior leadership
Identify innovation opportunities, operational efficiencies, and growth initiatives specific to the Canadian marketplace
Qualifications
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree
Experience Requirements: 8–10 years experience in relevant field (Experiential marketing, retail marketing, or integrated marketing experience preferred)
Travel requirement: Some travel expected
Supervisor Responsibility
Direct Reports: Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources
Indirect Reports: May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports
Required Knowledge and Skills
Canadian experiential, retail, and shopper marketing expertise
Financial management, forecasting, and profit and loss accountability
Knowledge of Canadian labour laws, retail compliance, and safety standards
Executive level client relationship management and negotiation
Leadership, talent development, and change management
Environmental & Physical Requirements
Office / Sedentary Requirements: Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically, requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may require the ability to lift up to 10lbs.
